Morning Modelbuch (6/14/2019)

Portrait of Lady Margaret (Bacon) Butts by Hans Holbein, dated around 1541-1543 held by the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. I think the collar band pattern looks like the combination of a couple of patterns in Peter Quentel’s _Eyn new kunstlichboich_. The image is from the 1529 copy at the Met.
