Today’s Merry Modelbuch project is threadwinders. I cut these out of balsawood and chipboard but you could easily customize some paper bobbins. Put several of them in with some pretty silks in a box and it’s a quick gift. I used the simple line drawings from _Scholehouse for the Needle_ because they worked so well in the size constraints. I drew them with Prismacolor colored pencils and I’ll seal them in the morning with some polyurethane if the temperature gets up over freezing.
