Morning Modelbuch (7/7/2019)

I’m still hanging out in the middle of nowhere, camping with the family. I did manage to find a modelbuch connection though, so decided to share. My nieces were looking at some lovely yellow wildflowers next to a little stream here. I was able to identify them as columbines thanks to patterns in de Sera (and Susan Baker Farmer pointing out that the flowers in the pattern are columbines.)

No extant piece today, but I’ve included pictures of what my normal landscape looks like as well as the water and columbines at the campground. Pattern is from _Le livre de lingerie, compose par maistre Dominique de Sera_. It is the 1584 version of Lotz 69, originally published in 1531. At that time it was titled _Ce livre est plaisant et utile_ and the author’s name is the French version, Celle. http://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b8613384g

I also included a hand drawn pattern in the back of the BNF’s copy, just because.
