Another of Hague’s donations to the Metropoitan Museum of Art. This mount has two pieces of lace and their patterns from the first book of _Le Pompe_ https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/226390

The Met’s copy of _Le Pompe_ is the first edition, dated 1557 by Giovanni Battista and Marchio Sessa. I’ve linked the BNF’s copy several times, which is dated 1559. http://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/356989
