Morning Modelbuch (1/24/2019)

I was looking for a leaf for a modern project I’m working on. I think I’ve settled on this one as the inspiration. It’s a piece donated by Marian Hague to the Cooper Hewitt. The sort of rambling nature of it and that it is Assisi work/ voided embroidery make it match the aesthetic I need it for, but it’s still a historic piece. I’m pretty thrilled to get to sneak a 16th century vibe into somewhere that it isn’t expected and have it be a perfect fit.
