Morning Modelbuch (11/11/2018)
This unfinished needle lace figure is part of what Marian Hague donated to the Cooper Hewitt. I found it intriguing since so many of the very late books have detailed figural lace in them. While I understand how geometric lace works, the more organic forms are much more mysterious to me.
The page is from Shorleyker’s Scholehouse for the Needle. Not a match, just an example of super crazy detailed figures. And I haven’t posted much from it, so wanted to make sure the link was available.
