Morning Modelbuch (5/2/2018)

This one is from the modelbuch that I used to think was my favorite Giovanni Ostaus’ 1567 _La Vera Perfettione del Disegno_. It still ranks up there. There are several designs in this one that are designed to be cut so you end up with a positive and negative image. This particular one isn’t, but I liked the concept anyway and it inspired me to decide to cut it out of leather and use it for applique. As I’ve said before, lots of things can be done with the designs.
