Morning Modelbuch (4/30/2018) I love this pattern for itself, but I like it even more because it's a page from one of about seven (7!!!!!) different modelbuchs designed and engraved by Isabella Catanea Parasole between 1595 and 1625. Her work was in high demand and her books were republished over and over again. Finding a well known female artist is always exciting. Her husband actually took her name because she was more famous.
