Tritons on the trumpet and monkeys on the tambourine. This one is from about 20 pages of crazy intricate lace patterns I can’t imagine anyone actually making tacked on to a hundred page book of behavior and morality advice for young ladies. Gee, I wonder why this book isn’t more popular?
_Du Debvoir du Filles_ 1597 by Jean Baptiste du Glen.
