Merry Modelbuch! (Day 6)

I think needleminders are one of the easiest gifts for stitchers. I have several made from enamel pins with neodymium magnets attached using E6000 glue. I like to match my mood or the project to the theme of my stitching. Seeing a favorite pattern motif, like this unicorn from Vecellio, should make my next project a little more fun. (Just as soon as I get around to prepping it to start.) This is just a square of mdf with a set of magnets on the back. I printed it directly on, but it would be just as easy to decopage a print in place or draw the pattern on the wood.

Pattern is Vecellio, taken from Helen Hough’s _Lace Patterns from Du Debvoir des Filles_ as shared on the Internet Archive using a Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-Share-Alike 4.0 International Public License.

I cropped the unicorn from the larger border, but other than that it is taken directly from the edited page. I am using this for myself and liked the way the black on white looked rather than the white on black of most of the available images. It also printed clearer than the others I was looking at and I didn’t want to do any editing this morning. Thank you Helen for all the work you’ve done to make the patterns easy to use! https://archive.org/details/deGlen1597/mode/1up
