Merry Modelbuch!

I know it has been ages since I posted, but I’m doing a variety of projects for the holidays using patterns from the books. I thought they might be of interest, so decided to share. First up are some ornaments I just did using several of the medallion patterns found in Giovanni Tagliente’s _Essempio di recammi_ https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/357722

I have a sublimation printer, so can transfer ink onto a variety of fabrics and substrates. These are just painted wood rounds sold for this purpose. I printed them and then used my heat press. The medallions have the advantage of already being round so they were easy to use as ornaments. I’ve got some other wooden shapes and plan to chose some borders and crop them to fit and do a few more ornaments tomorrow.
