Here’s the third newly digitized book i had done through EoD. This one is the Bavarian State Library’s copy of the 1889 facsimile by Seeman of Lotz #11, Heinrich Steyner’s 1534 “Ein New Modelbuch, auf die Welschen monier.”

Again, it really isn’t anything new. But I like having copies of all the variations. Truthfully, Steyner’s book wasn’t original when it was published, being a version of Quentel. There has been a different facsimile available online for awhile through the University of Heidelberg. That one came out in the art magazine, Zeitschrift des Badischen Kunstgewerbevereins zu Karlsruhe” in 1887. It is a little less accessible than most facsimilies as it is sandwiched among other articles and only has 53 plates of the 55 of Steyner. The newly scanned book linked below is a facsimile published in Leipzig by E.U. Seeman in 1889. It contains all 55 plates from Steyner.

This is my copy of the scan. It won’t be available directly from the Bavarian State Library for at least 90 days. It is is in the public domain and licensed under Creative Commons. You’re free to download a copy. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NOxQiiilwXqr1tPxFIGpAReG65GoDaT3/view?usp=drivesdk
