Modelbuch Monday (12/16/2019)

Today’s book is Federico Vinciolo’s second book, _Les secondes oeuvres, et subtiles inventions de lingerie du seigneur Federic de Vinciolo_, Lotz #128, originally published in 1594. Vinciolo’s first book is much better known and was published more frequently, but there are some wonderful patterns in here, especially if you like lacis.

I’m currently stitching some of the squares in cross stitch to make up as pincushion ornaments for my tree. It’s a really fun project. I just wish I had started earlier in the year. Oh well, I’ve got an early start for next year.
