It was a particularly good Modelbuch Mail day here today. My birthday was last week so I’d ordered things earlier in the month and I got packages from Italy and Switzerland today. The brown is an 1882 facsimile of Siebmacher, and the Ostaus and Paganino are from the Instituto Italiano d’Arte Grafiche’s Merletti e Ricami reproduction series and were published in 1909.
I’m up to 6 of the 19th/early 20th century republications in my collection now. As they are out of copyright, my eventual plan is to scan my copies and have them up on the website I’m working on. As much as I adore that so many of the books are available, I’d just like to have a bunch all in one place.
