This embroidered panel of Judith with the head of Holofernes looks like it would blend in really well with a couple of patterns from Christian Egenolff’s _Modelbuch Aller Art_. The fountain on the right edge could be from the image of Phyllis riding Aristotle. The other pattern is Delilah cutting Sampson’s hair. The subject matter is similar and Judith is wearing similar clothing. Patterns are from the 1555 version published by his heirs, but the book was first published in 1534. http://daten.digitale-sammlungen.de/~db/0008/bsb00084885/images
The panel is from Switzerland, dated to 1590 by the Art Institute of Chicago
