This Portrait of St. Catherine of Alexandria (possible portrait of Catherine of Austria Queen of Portugal) by Domingo Carvalho c. 1530 has a rather strong contrast trim across the top of her dress that seems to be a match to one in Hermann Gullferich’s _Modelbuch new, aller Art, Nehens und Stickens_ (dated 1553.) This is one of those instances where the design in the book probably came from either the painting or an earlier source. https://www.museodelprado.es/en/the-collection/art-work/saint-catherine-of-alexandria-possibly-a-portrait/1834549a-1850-47b1-a9c6-5e5f281765f0 https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/684139
