Speaking of Rosina Helena Furst and Maria Sibylla Merian, I happen to have gotten a copy of _500 Year’s of Women’s Work_, the catalog for the 2019 Duke University exhibition of the Lisa Unger Baskin collection recently. In her essay, Baskin specifically mentions Merian as an early part of her collection and several prints are included. A copy of Furst’s 1689 _Neus Modelbuch_ was also part of the exhibition.
Not a great deal of information on the items, but I always like catching glimpses of the books in a variety of venues and the title page engravings so frequently provide some wonderful context when discussing women’s social history.
