I just got a copy of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston's exhibition catalog for Strong Women in Renaissance Italy, written by Marietta Cambereri. I was pleasantly pleased by Parasole being included in the section talking about female artists as well as a larger discussion of the lace pattern books in an additional chapter. There are some lovely embroidered pieces as well as lace in the catalog. The illustrations include pages from de Sera, Pagano and Parasole, and the endpapers are Parasole patterns. https://www.mfa.org/publication/strong-women-in-renaissance-italy#:~:text=Womenalsoassertedtheirpresence,artoftheItalianRenaissance.
