No pattern today. I had to share this sewing box with velvet lace pillow that belonged to Archduchess Claudia di Medici, regent of the Austrian County of Tyrol between 1632-46. She lived much of her life at Schloss Ambras and her gorgeous textile tools are included in the Kunstkammer there. There are several other nice large views of it that can be downloaded on the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wein’s website. Go have a look.
