The same blog I pointed out this morning linked to a copy of Frances Morris and Marian Hague’s book _ Antique Laces of the American Collectors_ . It was put out by The Needle and Bobbin Club in 1920. Many of the laces ended up in The Met’s collection. You can access the book from the Watson Library Digital Collections. Volume 1 are where all the pictorial plates are. Archive has a scan of The Getty’s copy for download, but it only has the text descriptions of the plates and the regular illustrations, so it is missing most of the best content.
