Morning Modelbuch (8/2/2019)

I’ve never seen cuffs shaped like this. I am interested to try the shape and see how they would sit on the sleeves of a dress. The Art Institute of Chicago has them listed as 1525-50 I would tend to think the later date makes more sense. The top band has a simple pattern like one in Pietro Paolo Tozzi’s _Ghirlanda di sei uaghi fiori scielti da piu famosi giardini d’Italia_ (Lotz 139) Lotz has it dated 1604. https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k9400650r/f27.image
