Morning Modelbuch (8/1/2019)

The Victoria and Albert has lots of wonderful pieces and I don’t spend nearly enough time on them. I tend to post using mobile, and most of the pictures are only available on the full site. I managed to get some time on the computer today, so I figured I would post this wonderful shirt dated between 1600-1650. The lacis was the first pattern to catch my eye. It shows up in Vecellio which means it is republished in several other books. I’ve linked Sigismundus Latomus _Schon newes Modelbuch von 500_ (Lotz 45.)
