Morning Modelbuch (7/1/2019)

It is sort of tradition for craft suppliers to do Christmas in July. I think it is because starting to think about gifts then is the only way we have hope of finishing projects by winter. With that in mind, (and because someone asked for a holly pattern today,) I thought I would share this 16th century scrap of lace turned into a holiday card in the 20th century, donated to the Cooper Hewitt by Marian Hague, and a holly pattern from Siebmacher. https://collection.cooperhewitt.org/objects/18474327/ https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/354660
