Morning Modelbuch (6/29/2019)

This 16th century Italian cloth with a paschal lamb came to Cleveland via the Ida Schiff collection. There is a similar pattern in Johann Sibmacher’s _Newes Modelbuch in Kupffer_. This is the second of the Sibmacher books. There were 5 different editions, with the first edition appearing in 1601.
