Research is treasure hunting, but having a map is helpful. The thing I most appreciate about this small book is that it has measurements and descriptions. Littwitz was an importer and a collector. Much of his collection was donated to the Brooklyn Museum, the Carnegie, and other museums. Tracking them down is kind of fun, and having more info helps.
