Morning Modelbuch (4/28/2019)

The University of Bologna had this lovely photograph of a Bronzino painting sold at Sotheby’s in their photo archive. I wasn’t able to find a better photograph of it, but I did find an unattributed photo of another version of the painting by a follower of Bronzino on Tumblr. The embroidery isn’t very clear in the photo, but I included it for the color.

The pattern is in _Modelbuch aller Art Nehens vn Stickens_ published in 1535 by Christian Egenolff
