Morning Modelbuch (4/7/2019)
This little deer shows up in a lot of traditional patterns, so I was excited to see it drawn in a copy of Claude Nourry’s 1530 _La fleur des patrons de lingerie_ https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b10548053f/f66.item and then to see it much later in the earliest dated German sampler stitched by Lucke Boten in 1618.
