16th century Italian embroidered border with sort of a lotus style lily and knotwork. Donated by Marian Hague. There is a similar piece in the V and A done with the border mirrored to be twice as wide, but I can’t find it in the online collection. https://collection.cooperhewitt.org/objects/18475073/
