Morning Modelbuch (3/9/2019)
I’m always interested in seeing various patterns adapted to different techniques. It took me a minute to determine that this 16th century Genoese bobbin lace edging at the Met was actually a double headed eagle with a crown above it since the photograph has the design upside down. The plate is from Parasole’s _Teatro delle nobili e virtuose donne_ https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/221165 https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b105480181/f61.item
