Morning Modelbuch (1/17/2019)

I got a bit excited when I found the deer ornament based on a modelbuch pattern that the Brooklyn Museum put out back in the 1980’s and I’ve been looking for more. This one the Met put out in 1987 just arrived. It is based on the bottom part of a partlet in the 1603 Vinciolo _Les Secondes Oeuvres, et Subtiles Inventions De Lingerie du Seigneur Federic de Vinciolo Venitien_ The ornament is white enamel over brass.
