A couple of bad girls from Christian Egenolff’s _Modelbuch Aller Art_ Phyllis riding Aristotle and Delilah cutting Sampson’s hair. These are from the 1555 version published by his heirs, but the book was first published in 1534. http://daten.digitale-sammlungen.de/~db/0008/bsb00084885/images

I know these were meant to be cautionary tales, but I keep wanting to embroider all the seductresses on a pair of drawers and a chemise. I posted Salome previously and she’d need to be there too.

And bonus lions with their tails tied in knots is a fun pattern as well.
