Morning Modelbuch (5/31/2018)
Well, that was a bit odd. I’m apparently listed as a reference and cited in a book on modelbuchlein. I ran across this yesterday. Helen Hough (a librarian at the University of Texas at Arlington) has e-published several modelbuch and compilations of patterns from them as a series called Charted Embroidery Patterns of the Renaissance. She has a couple of my Pinterest boards linked as well. I don’t know whether to be excited to be helpful to someone or to kick myself for not publishing my information myself. Ah well. I’m an enabler and it is nice to see my information being used. Guess I need to get off my butt if I want to be able to use this research for my PhD like i had hoped.
